SYNOPSIS
1943. The day before Jewish horse dealer Siegmund and Marga Spiegel with their daughter Karin would have been deported from Ahlen in Westfahlen, they escape and seperatly hide with local farmers. Contrary to good sense they trust these munsterlandish farmers to keep their promise, also they know too well that Naziterror regards secretly harbouring a jew as a crime punishable by death. The impossible became reality. Based on Marga Spiegels report "Saver in the Night", which related on how the small family survived in their different hiding places.
